Project Requirement

 

Our team was required to create a portable powered purification system. the system should include a battery unit and entire system should fit into a casing. This system will be carried by a person and deployed under 30 minutes using universally understood pictorial instructions. Post disaster rescue, relief, and recovery teams will be able to use this system to take standing, stagnant water and produce safe drinking without rely on local power source. Besides, the system should have flow rate of 2 gallons per minute and can provide water for 200 people per day.The system should operate 72 hours with battery/ies attached to the system. because this system will be used in post disaster, we assume that the affected area will be wet, so the system should be waterproof.
