The battery the group is considering for use is the US AGM 2000. It has a 20 hour current capacity of 210 Ah which is a safe number for Solely Pure so that it does not get completely discharged. Its price is $265.00.
The disinfectant that we are going to use is Sun Pure UV-UST400 UV Light. The major part of this system is the ultraviolet light UV which effectively kill 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa in the water. The lamp emits bright light at the wavelength of 253.7 nanometers which is enough to eliminate the microorganisms to reproduce and die. The lamp only require 14 watts in order for the disinfectant to work. It also produces 30000 micro-watts at max. At this output, it can eliminate mold spore, fungi, algae, and protozoa. See table 2 to see UV dosage requirement. The interior chamber is made of 316 stainless steel can maximize the disinfectant by reflecting UV light to the water.
